Szabolcs Kokay
Szabolcs was born in Hungary in 1976, becoming a birdwatcher at age 12. After finishing school he worked for the
Ministry of the Environment and Birdlife Hungary. Always a talented artist, he began to specialize in birds and the
natural world in 1996 and became a professional illustrator in 2001. His early works were usually line drawings but
now almost all of his pieces are painted in acrylic on paper. His favourite subject is birds in the modern world and
he enjoys depicting how nature can adapt to a changing environment.
