Mike Hughes
Mike was born in Lancashire in 1970 and now lives in Devon with his young family.
He has worked as a freelance illustrator for the last 10 years with his illustrations appearing in books, magazines, posters, brochures,
leaflets and identification panels. They range from small scientific studies to large 4 metre murals.
Recently Mike has concentrated on painting wildlife for exhibitions and prints, these are painted on a larger scale with light and shadow
being as much of a feature as the wildlife.
