'Kea on the routeburn track' by Martin Bell.
Kea are the only true alpine parrot in the world. They are only found in the mountains of the South Island. These two birds were seen on
the `Routeburn track’ near Queenstown. There is a male kea who regularly greets me when I park my coach at the `Chasm ‘on the way into
Milford Sound. He has become so tame that he hops boldly onto the top step of the coach doorway, much to the amazement of my passengers.
This painting is done in oils on stretched canvas and is 40”x33” (unframed)
There are 50 limited edition Giclee prints on canvas available in two different sizes. Firstly the original size or smaller at 24”x20” unframed.
