Thomas Monahan

Thomas was born in 1964 in Novato, California, USA. He studied as a Graphic Designer in the UK and worked for several years in Advertising and Marketing, before becoming a Creative Director.

However... a passion for art took over Thomas's love for marketing. Thomas began working as an abstract expressionist in Las Vegas, Nevada. Upon his return to the UK, Thomas decided to change his focus and moved into the world of Wild Life Art and he has spent the past 2 years establishing himself as a Wildlife Artist.

Thomas is a self-taught artist working mainly with Gouache based in his own studio "The Artist Rest" in the small Cheshire village of Farndon on the border of England and Wales, close to the Roman City of Chester.
