He has exhibited widely around the north of England and has entered several open exhibitions including the Haworth open which he won in 1997 and the British Society of Painters Spring Open which he won the following year. His work is now mainly sold through the Longridge Gallery in the Ribble valley, privately and to commission. In 1999 he was invited to exhibit at Harrods for the Africat charity event in aid of cheetahs.

Michael is a member of Marwell Wildlife Art Society and the Wildlife Art Society, his work can be seen at events organised by these societies. He also exhibits in Liverpool at the annual Wildlife Art exhibition run by NEWA, where in 2002 his work was commended.

When he is not working Michael relaxes by walking among the Bowland Fells where much of the inspiration for his work comes from. He turned professional in 1999. To email Michael click here.
